The PPC Surge Wing - developed by Sam Loader and his team in New Zealand, is a balanced power house. Being named Surge = “a sudden powerful forward or upward movement” was not done for no reason!
With its flat profile and small diameter leading edge tube, the Surge is very stiff and provides ample power - a very fast wing with tons of lift. The drop down in the center tube gives it balanced and neutral flight characteristics - while luffing it, coming down a wave or during a maneuver the Surge will follow you with little control needed.
Much attention was given to the placement of the four handles - with their stiff set up, finding them after a maneuver will become natural in no time and handling the Surge is a blast.
If required harness lines can be attached, using the pig tails that had been added to the center strut.
A high quality construction with Japanese Teijin cloth and German Polyant Dacron, the Surge will not absorb water and increase weight while you're out on the water.

Perfekter Wing auch bereits als Einsteiger. Nach dem ich einen Kurs gemacht habe und verschiedene Wings getestet habe, habe ich nach dem ich den Surge gefahren habe sofort damit wohl gefühlt. Die Handle sich optimal verteilt und der 4.8 macht im Vergleich zu den anderen Wings die ich hatte super Druck, bei perfekten handling. Ich werde wohl auch noch den 5.8 mit in mein Setup nehmen.
I come from another brand of wings. PPC was almost a new sport to me with the lightweight and high pressure bladders and high performance canopy.
The top speed performance on ice is amaizing and the bottom end and pump performance when taking off foiling helps to go at lighter wind ranges every time I get out on the water.
Ich hab mich für den PPC entschieden, nachdem ich einiges an Wings mal ausprobiert habe.
Die Power und Kontrolle des Wings ist ziemlich einzigartig. Hab schon gedacht das die Ensis schon gut Dampf machen, aber der PPC hat da noch mehr zu bieten. Zudem ist die Verarbeitung des Wings einfach top.
Die Griffe sind super platziert, und durch die steifere Form sehr gut zu greifen beim umsetzen nach den jibes.
Ich bin voll happy mit den Wings,... schon interessant das es so große Unterschiede gibt.
