We were fed up with the standard T-nuts getting stuck in the foilbox on a frequent basis and thought we'll do something about it!
Our HAIKU Sports T-Nut and Screw Sets are not only lighter and stronger than your standard brass and stainless steel sets, but they will slide in the foilbox without getting stuck. they will also stop corrosion. Having standard measurements these cool looking are smooth, with well rounded edges for a smooth slide in the tracks.
Manufactured in the most widely used titanium alloy - GR5. It has very high strength but relatively low ductility. Compared to pure titanium, grad 5 has much higher tensil strength and a higher yeld point. Titanium grad 5 is therefore preferable when the strength is more important. Due to its capabilities its main application is in aircraft and spacecraft, but Offshore use is growing due to its corrosion resistance.
