Heli tape as SUP rail tape
Helicopter rotor blades are exposed to extreme conditions: strong temperature fluctuations, UV radiation, flying stones during takeoff and landing and impacts from insects and birds. It's hard to imagine what happens if a rotor blade is damaged in flight. That's why there is a special tape that pilots and technicians rely on to protect their rotor blades: Heli-Tape!....and we use the same material to protect SUPs.

Original Helitape is extra thick and made of polyurethane. Not cheap PVC.
Extremely resilient, it can withstand impacts, protects against punctures and UV rays, is extremely temperature resistant and even solvent resistant.
SUP rail tape is usually made of PVC, is difficult to apply, especially on sharp rails, and therefore breaks quickly. We found it super annoying, especially when using it on our waveboards, and it often came loose in the rail area. Then sand gets under the SUP Rail Saver, which damages the board instead of protecting it.
Our SUP Rail Tape is made of PU and therefore offers the best protection for SUPs.

Good SUP rail tape is easy to apply and remove
You can easily attach the rail tape with soapy water and it can be removed without leaving any residue with a hairdryer. This protects your board and maintains its value.
